Dra. Vick M. Sánchez Pabón, MS, Ph.D.
Founder of Mentis Health and Counseling and Organizational Psychologist
Dr. Vick M. Sánchez is a counseling psychologist licensed by the Puerto Rico Board of Examiners of Psychologists and an ICF-certified executive coach (ACC). She founded Mentis Health in 2025 with a clear vision: to create a healing space where children, families and individuals can receive compassionate, evidence-based and genuinely person-centered therapeutic care.
She holds a doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Universidad Carlos Albizu and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Alabama, an uncommon combination that allows her to integrate a deep clinical understanding of trauma with a strategic view of organizational wellbeing. Her therapeutic approach blends evidence-based interventions with a genuine understanding of how a person's mental health impacts, and is impacted by, their family and work environment.
Before founding Mentis Health, Dr. Sánchez held leadership positions in mental health and human resources at organizations such as Bayer Puerto Rico, Baxter International and federal agencies, where she designed and implemented wellbeing, crisis management, coaching and employee assistance (EAP) programs that transformed organizational culture and strengthened the engagement and retention of the teams she served.
Today, Dr. Sánchez devotes her expertise to clinical practice at Mentis Health, offering trauma therapy, couples and family therapy, and mental health counseling, while also advising companies on developing psychological wellbeing programs for their employees.
